I now trust the promptings of the Holy Spirit even when, perhaps especially when, it doesn’t seem to make sense. I don’t need to understand all of the details. I just need to do whatever He tells me, in expectant trust, in wonder and awe of what He will do.

I was never afraid that day... An inexplicable peace had settled over me the whole time, and as we paddled down the river in the rain I was just so happy, so filled with joy even though the rain never let up. I felt completely surrounded by the love of God.
